Madison Hatta
Madison Hatta transforms angst into
joy through the declamation of original, whimsical sonnets on such themes as
madness, Time, career & family dysFUNction, and the importance of drinking
tea. Madison has graced the open mic at Cornelia Street Cafe’s Poetry of New
York series, and was invited to perform at La MaMa Experimental Theatre as part
of the Poetry Electric series in Spring 2012. Madison may be thought of as the
alter ego of April Lynn James, Performance Poet & Designer of Whimsical
Things, or not, as the case may be. In any case, their information may be found
at Madison’s blog, www.madisonhatta.com or at April’s
site, www.aprillynnjames.com.
While you’re there,
be sure to visit Madison Hatta’s Peculiari-Tea Shop, where currently Whimsical
Things postcards are being offered for sale.
